Christmas at the Cottage: Why It’s Becoming a New Tradition

For many families, Christmas at the cottage has become something truly special!

There is less pressure.

Less rushing.

Less noise.

Instead of crowded schedules, the day unfolds with slow mornings, shared meals, winter walks, and fires that burn from morning to night. Presents feel secondary to simply being together. Conversations last longer, and laughter comes easier.

Cooking together replaces formal dinners. Pajamas stretch well into the afternoon. The outdoors becomes part of the celebration, whether it is sledding, skating, or quietly watching snow fall through the trees.

A cottage Christmas does not replace tradition. It refines it.

And sometimes, that is exactly what the season calls for!
